This policy explains how QuoteWise, a service operated by ESTIMATE AI LTD (company no. 14567738, registered in England & Wales), collects and uses your personal data. ESTIMATE AI LTD is the data controller.

Data we collect

Account details — your email address and authentication data when you sign up or sign in.
Project content — the drawings, files and project information you upload so we can produce an estimate.
Quote requests — the email address and scoping answers you provide through the quote-request form.
Usage data — if you accept analytics cookies, how you interact with the site (see our cookie policy).

How we use it

To provide and operate the QuoteWise service and generate estimates.
To respond to your quote requests and support enquiries.
To secure, maintain and improve the service.
To understand usage and improve the product, where you have consented to analytics.

Legal bases

We rely on contract (to provide the service you ask for), legitimate interests (to secure and improve the service) and consent (for analytics cookies, which you can withdraw at any time).

Service providers

We share data with processors only as needed to run the service: Supabase (authentication and database hosting), Vercel (application hosting), Resend (transactional email), Sentry (error monitoring), and OpenAI (AI processing of your drawings to generate estimates). With your consent we also use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity for analytics.

Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, and then delete or anonymise it unless we are required to retain it for legal reasons.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or port your data, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent.
