Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of QuoteWise, a service operated by AI ESTIMATE QUOTING SERVICE LTD (company no. 17248973, registered in England & Wales). By using QuoteWise you agree to these terms.

If you joined as a founding member, the Founding Member Terms apply alongside these terms.

The service

QuoteWise uses AI to help UK builders produce labour and materials estimates from uploaded drawings and project details. Estimates are decision-support tools, not a substitute for professional quantity surveying advice; you are responsible for checking any output before relying on it.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be entitled to upload any drawings or files you submit.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the service unlawfully or to infringe others’ rights.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service.
• Do not upload content you do not have the right to share.

Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the drawings and content you upload. QuoteWise and its underlying software remain the property of AI ESTIMATE QUOTING SERVICE LTD. You grant us the limited rights needed to process your content and provide the service.

Documents you send us

Drawings, structural calculations and other project documents you send us — whether uploaded or emailed, and whether they come from you or from your architect, engineer or builder — are stored under your project as supplied.

Sending us a document gives us permission to use it for two things, both internal to the service:

• Preparing the quotation you asked for.
• Testing and improving our estimating system. We re-run real projects against the correct answer to find where we got it wrong and fix it. We may use your project data to improve our rules, checks, instructions, and AI components. Your documents stay within the service — they are not shared with other customers or published. Tell us if you would rather your project was excluded, and it will be; your quotation is unaffected.

It does not transfer ownership or copyright, and it does not permit us to publish or share your drawings as a public example or case study. That is a separate permission and we will ask you for it explicitly.

Some documents are stored for reference only — a planning or lawful development certificate, for example. Those are kept so they can be found alongside the project, and are not used to produce your estimate.

You confirm that you are entitled to send us each document, and that doing so does not breach anyone else’s rights.

No warranty

The service is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that estimates are accurate or complete, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, AI ESTIMATE QUOTING SERVICE LTD is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from your reliance on an estimate. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
